John's Definition of Success:
To live enthusiastically, laugh often and dance when possible; to love honestly and openly and always to have romance in my life; to imbue my children and grandchildren with the gift of a great education, a love of knowledge, a respect of nature, and the moral fiber and confidence to take risks;
To be a true friend and trusted advisor; to achieve the respect of peers, staff, and clients; to be open to new ideas and constructive criticism; to help my clients create their own vision; and to create with them a plan to accumulate the assets to achieve their goals.
Too many advisors focus on getting you to retire rich; my goal instead is to help you live a rich life.
